As I step ov...The leg controls a lot of the motion. As I step over the toe the computer controls the speed of the swing, I control the speed I walk. Most of the balance and control comes from the muscles in the hip. Try this....put your knee on the arm of a couch, pick your opposite foot off the ground and try to balance. This is kind of what it's like to have an above knee amputation and balance on a prosthetic.
